Budapest, October 22 (MTI) – The opposition Socialists have proposed that the criminal code should be amended to have animal cruelty be punishable by imprisonment.
Laszlo Kiss, a member of parliament’s legislative committee, said that animal abusers should face prison sentences even if the abuse does not coincide with other crimes.
The Socialists recommend that animal cruelty should be punishable by up to 5 years in prison and up to 8 years if the abuser records the cruel act on an electronic device, Kiss said.

Oh Great! With everything else going on in Hungary and Europe, the Socialists now think their pulling some kind of wild card to attract attention. The sheer idiotic of proposal shows just out of touch this bunch is with reality. Glad they disclosed what’s top on their own agenda, but nobody else’s. Is anybody still funding these loosers?
Ya, maybe they’ll kick some human trafficers out of prison, to make room for these out of control animal abusers…
