Will Smith comes to Budapest again!
One of Smith’s latest blockbusters, Gemini Man, hits theatres on 10 October in Hungary. For this reason, the superstar, accompanied by film director Ang Lee and producers Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison, is coming back to Budapest.
Smith spent a couple of weeks in Budapest last year while filming Gemini Man. Index reports that he is coming back to the Hungarian capital this September.
During his stay in Budapest last spring, he posed with fans in a random Budapest restaurant, visited the Frida Kahlo Exhibition at the Hungarian National Museum, and (illegally) climbed to the top of the Chain Bridge, just to mention a few of his endeavours.

Gemini Man is directed by Ang Lee, two-time Oscar-winner known for films like Brokeback Mountain and the Life of Pi. The sci-fi action film is thus a new genre for him, which makes it a project to look forward to. The film is about an ageing hitman who is about to retire but is attacked by someone who turns out to be a younger, cloned version of himself. Gemini Man is scheduled to be released in October 2019. Smith is accompanied in the cast by Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Clive Owen.
Gemini Man’s Hungarian distributor announced the news that director Ang Lee and Will Smith would return to Budapest once more at the end of September, accompanied by the film’s producers, Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison.
Unfortunately, no further details were revealed about their stay. However, we know that they are coming here in connection with the film’s release in Hungary this October, and they will be here between 24-26 September. Fans will have several opportunities to meet Will Smith and his co-workers.
