A Hungarian man disappeared in the Grand Canyon
The US authorities are asking for help from the public to find the missing Hungarian man in the Grand Canyon National Park.
The 45-year-old man was reported missing by his family on July 29 to Las Vegas police. The man stayed in The Mirage hotel in Las Vegas and from there went on a car trip to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The man is called Gábor Berczi-Tomcsányi, the photo of who was provided by the national park.
According to HVG, after his family reported his disappearance, on August 9, his car was found at a visitor center on the South Rim, with his personal belongings inside.
Authorities searched the area on land and from the air, but the research yielded no results, so they are now asking for public help.
Authorities suspect the man arrived on the southern edge of the canyon on July 19th. They believe he traveled alone.
