A Hungarian won EUR 374 thousand, but did not take it

Someone in Hungary won the jackpot of 150 million forints playing Joker. After 4 weeks of accumulation, someone took home the jackpot. However, the winner did not come forward within 90 days. Between 18 and 31 July 2022, the Szerencsejáték Zrt. will draw 36 cash prizes of different sizes.

One player won nearly 150 million HUF (€ 374316) in the 7th week of 2022 with 3,7,0,8,4,1 winning numbers. The player then has 3 months (90 days) to claim the prize. However, this did not happen.

Thus, according to the rules of the Gambling Ltd., the unclaimed prizes will be subject to a special draw. As a result, everyone who bought a Joker worth at least 600 HUF (€ 1.5) in July participated in the promotion.

The lucky ones can win 15 times 300.000 HUF (€ 749) or 3 times 3 million HUF (€ 7486) per week. An additional prize of HUF 15 million (€ 37.432) will also be drawn. This means that HUF 42 million will be distributed. The remaining HUF 100 million will be distributed in additional Joker promotions.

In 2019, one player won HUF 245.6 million (€ 612882) for which he did not register, portfolio.hu writes.
