Ader Greets New European Commission
Budapest (MTI) – Hungarian President Janos Ader on Wednesday greeted the president of the new European Commission in a telegramme sent to Jean-Claude Juncker.
Ader said he trusted that the new body would be successful in strengthening the achievements of the EU integration, in keeping shared values and in putting economic growth on a sustainable path, as well as in boosting the effectiveness of the EU.
He added that the EC president and members of the commission can rely on Hungary’s active support in achieving these goals.
The European Parliament on Wednesday approved the commission team of Jean-Claude Juncker, with Hungary’s Tibor Navracsics as commissioner of culture, education, youth and sports.
