Brawl at Kiskunhalas migrant facility
Budapest, July 18 (MTI) – A brawl broke out among detainees at a reception centre in Kiskunhalas, in southern Hungary, on Sunday night, the prime minister’s chief security advisor reported.
György Bakondi said that some 20 Algerians, Syrians, Pakistanis and Mongols started a fight “first with fists then with broken furniture legs”. Later some 200 others “joined in the events”, he added.
The police restored order at the migrant facility by the late evening hours, Bakondi said.
Nine people suffered light injuries.
