Brutal family showdown in Érd – shocking videos about what happened
At least three different videos have been uploaded about the brutal fight that took place at a petrol station in Érd between two families and their relatives. They fought with pickaxes, rocks, spades, sticks, knives and even pistols. One man died in the fight while 12 others are still in the hospital. Police requested the pre-trial arrest in the case of 12 people taking part in the fight. Shocking details below!
In the first recording, several members of one of the fighting families are shouting and cursing their opponents. Origo.hu said that one of them died during the fight:
The next day police shared the recordings of the surveillance cameras placed at the petrol station. One of these shows ordinary customers at the station who hid behind their cars during the fight.
As we reported before, on Thursday night, at around eight pm in Érd, two groups had a dispute which ended up in a violent confrontation where the two parties seriously injured each other. The members of both families started hitting one another with sticks, stones, iron pipes, spades, and knives, and there have even been
several shots fired from gas and alarm guns,
but these did not cause any injuries.

A few minutes later, the showdown ended, and all the perpetrators fled just as soon as they appeared. The Pest County Police Headquarters detained no fewer than 13 people in total after the brawl. A 36-year-old man is suspected of homicide and another 12 men with the crime of armed breach of peace in groups. All 13 people detained were injured. Many of them suffered stabbed, cut, or bruised injuries. Police have taken them all into custody and are initiating their arrest.
It was evident already from the CCTV footage of the Police that the two families threw things at each other and beat each other with sticks, iron pipes and spades. It is also clear from the footage that they
continued to be aggressive towards their target even after that person fell to the ground.
The police said at their press conference on Friday that four of the victims needed immediate medical assistance when their officers arrived at the scene of this brutal showdown.
In the aftermath of the ruthless clash, a 50-year-old man died of his injuries before they could help him, two were in life-threatening condition, three were seriously injured, and seven were slightly injured. The Pest County Attorney General’s Office told MTI on Saturday that the clashing parties were
a family from Enying and a family from Érd.
At least 16 male members of the Enying family showed up in several cars at a petrol station where the other family from Érd was. This ‘vendetta’ was most likely done to settle a previous argument the two families might have had. Both families brought cutting and stabbing weapons with themselves as well as improvised with the intent of injuring the other family members.
Arriving at the gas station, one of the drivers immediately steered their car so that they hit one of the members of the opposing family, then they reversed their vehicle and hit another man. The members of the Enying family then gathered around the vehicle and dragged the passengers out, as well as fought with members of the Érd family rushing to the scene. While fighting, one of the men from the Enying family
managed to stab a man of the Érd family near his heart.
Unfortunately, the victim shortly died after his injury. After a short while, the members of the Enying family left the scene by car just as suddenly as they arrived, but the Érd family managed to damage the cars leaving, the statement said.
Police says that members of both families uploaded videos before the vendetta to provoke their opponents, but they are still investigating the causes of the “battle.”
