Brutal! Security guards beat a guest unconscious at Lake Balaton

The brutal incident took place last summer in Siófok, one of the most popular party towns at Lake Balaton.

According to the accusation, six men who worked as security guards surrounded the victim in one of the nightclubs in Siófok in August 2020.

He was mistakenly thought to have previously mixed drugs into a woman’s drink.

As the victim denied the accusation, one of the perpetrators first grabbed him by the neck under his armpit and hit him on the side, then carried him to the ground and with his companions they kicked him on the head, shoulders, and back at least ten times.

As Hungarian news portal Index reports,

during the abuse, the victim lost consciousness for a short time.

After the brutal incident, the victim was taken to hospital. He suffered injuries that healed within eight days; however, due to the severity of the attack, there was a possibility of more serious injuries.

The prosecutor’s office proposed the imposition of a suspended prison sentence on the perpetrator, with the attempt of causing grievous bodily harm.
