Budapest metro line closed because of suicide attempt
A man wanted to commit suicide in the M2 metro in Budapest today. That is why the underground was closed between the Deák Ferenc Square and the Örs Vezér Square this morning and early afternoon.
According to 444.hu, the Hungarian national ran into the metro tunnel in Blaha Lujza Square. Inside, he cut his throat with a knife. The National Ambulance Service arrived quickly and provided immediate care for the suicidal man. As a result, however, authorities closed the M2 metro line for hours. Replacement buses transported the passengers between Deák Ferenc Square and Örs Vezér Square.
