Budapest To Host Hungary-Poland, V4 Summits Tomorrow

Budapest, January 28 (MTI) – A Hungary-Poland intergovernmental summit and a meeting of prime ministers of countries in the Visegrad Four cooperation will be held in Budapest on Wednesday afternoon.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban and several ministers of his cabinet will meet Poland’s premier Donald Tusk and Polish government members in Parliament, Bertalan Havasi, press chief of the Prime Minister’s Office, told MTI.

Following the talks, Hungarian-Polish intergovernmental agreements will be signed, and the two heads of government will hold a joint press conference, Havasi added.

Later on Wednesday, an extraordinary Visegrad summit will be held, with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and incoming Czech premier Bohuslav Sobotka joining their Hungarian and Polish counterparts for a working dinner focusing on the situation in Ukraine, Havasi said.
