Coronavirus in Hungary: 13 new fatalities, number of registered cases rises to 1,512
Another 13 patients have died in Hungary and the number of registered novel coronavirus infections has risen by 54 to 1,512 in a single day, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Tuesday morning. So far, there have been 122 fatalities.
The epidemic is now at the stage of being spread through communities, and the virus could be present anywhere and infect anyone, the website said, warning that
the actual number of people carrying the virus is much higher than the number of registered carriers.
The elderly, students and people returning from abroad must stay at home, it said. Everyone must observe the curfew restrictions which the government has extended indefinitely, it added.
Budapest has the highest number of infections (732), followed by Pest County (220) and Fejer county (106).

Johns Hopkins tally fixes global COVID-19 cases to below 2 mln
According to Xinhua, after initially reporting that
global COVID-19 cases topped 2 million on Monday night, the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University has lowered the figure to 1,918,855.
At 8 p.m. local time on Monday (0000 GMT on Tuesday), the CSSE said the global COVID-19 cases surpassed 2 million, while at around 9:30 p.m. (0130 GMT on Tuesday) it reported the total number stood at 1,918,855.
The total deaths worldwide were 119,588, according to the CSSE.
The United States is the country with the most cases, 581,918, and the highest death toll of 23,608. Spain and Italy followed with 170,099 and 159,516 cases, respectively, the tally shows.
Other hardest-hit countries include France with 137,877 cases and Germany with 130,072 cases, the tally shows.
