Eight countries accept the Hungarian immunity certificate

Fully 73 patients, generally elderly with co-morbidities, died over the past 24 hours, while 1,039 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Saturday.
So far 4,554,679 people have received a first jab, while 2,656,671 have been fully vaccinated.
The number of active infections has declined to 149,707, while hospitals are treating 2,453 Covid patients, 308 of whom need respiratory assistance.
There are almost 20 thousand people in official quarantine, while more than 5.6 million tests have been officially carried out.
Since the first outbreak, 797,429 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 29,114. Fully 618,608 people have made a recovery.
So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.

The application “substituting” the plastic card proving protection against coronavirus infection is now available for download. The app is available here (after logging in).
So let’s put this into context. There are some 195 countries in the world, of which 8 plus Hungary, totalling 9 recognise this ‘vaccine certificate’. Splendid, only 186 more countries to go! This seemingly endless boasting about all things insignificant is nothing short of ridiculous.
