Everything you need to help you plan a visit to Hungary in two short VIDEOS!
The Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) made two short videos summarising the rules you need to know to travel to Hungary and to get around in the country. You can find useful information, for example, where you still have to wear a face mask, whether you can attend mass events, or what your COVID-19 passport is handy for in Hungary.
According to MTÃœ’s press release, the videos’ aim is to sum up the rules important for potential foreign tourists and help them plan their holiday in Hungary. As we reported before, Hungary abolished mandatory face mask-wearing after reaching the 5.5 millionth inoculated citizen on July 1. Interestingly, the EU’s COVID certificate was introduced the same day. We wrote about all the details HERE.
The first film MTÃœ published on YouTube is titled “Rules to follow regarding the current COVID restrictions”. It is about what you need to know if you plan to travel to Hungary.
It gives answers, for example, to the following questions:
- What is your EU digital COVID certificate good for in Hungary?
- Can you travel to Hungary by air?
- Can you attend mass events?
- How can you prove that you are protected against the coronavirus?
- Where do you have to still wear your face mask in Hungary?
You can watch the short animation movie below:
The second short movie titled “Essential guide to the current COVID-related restrictions” is answering the following questions:
- How can I visit a hotel, a restaurant or a bath?
- Where do I still need to have my vaccination certificate?
- Can anybody attend family events?
- Can I attend village festivals?
Here is the movie:
The MTÜ stated that they would like to add subtitles to the videos in the following languages: German, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Serbian, Slovenian, Croatian, Romanian, Spanish, Italian, and French.
