Extreme heat continues in Hungary
Hungary’s national weather service has warned that daytime highs would continue to hover around 34-38 degrees Celsius over the next few days.
The public health authority has issued a heat alert for the whole country until Friday midnight, and said that the highest temperatures are expected to be measured in the south and the south-east, as well as in the central parts of the country.
Night-time lows are expected to be between 22-28 degrees in the coming days.
