Hungary’s very first military-themed adventure park, the Kincsem Defence Park, officially opened on Friday in Budapest’s 10th district, on Fehér Street. Visitors had the chance to try out the attractions together with the trainers and competitors of Kiképzés, the popular Hungarian military and sports reality show.

At the opening ceremony, project manager Marcell Bartók highlighted that the Hungarian Defence Forces are continuously developing—not only by acquiring new equipment but also by seeking new ways to connect with society. The new adventure park is designed to showcase the army in an engaging and interactive way.

He noted that while Budapest already has an indoor military experience centre at the Bálna Defence Hub, the newly opened Kincsem Defence Park provides an outdoor alternative. Spread across 20 stations, the park offers a wide range of military simulations for both children and adults.

A dedicated children’s section allows kids as young as four or five to enjoy a military-themed playground, test their skills with Nerf guns, or try out the buggy track and obstacle courses.
