Formula 1: here is how much your taxi will cost to the Hungaroring
Formula 1’s Hungarian grand prix will start on 21 July, and its official taxi partner will be Bolt. The taxi company told HVG, a Hungarian economic news outlet, how much a ride would cost from downtown to the Hungaroring, the race venue close to Budapest.
According to hvg.hu, Formula-1 attracts a lot of people each year to Hungary. Last year, 300 thousand spectators visited the Hungaroring during the four days of the race. The organisers expect full house on Sunday again.
Bolt, the official taxi partner of the grand prix, advises everybody to order a car to popular hubs because you may find your ride quicker. The fares depend on traffic and the departure place. However, the company told passengers should calculate HUF 14-18 thousand (EUR 37-48) from Buda and HUF 13-16 thousand (EUR 35-43) from Pest. The time of your journey will be between 30 and 40 minutes.
The Hungaroring is 23.3 kilometres from the Chain Bridge, near the small settlement of Mogyoród. Finally, here are some photos about how they would like to rebuild the race track and its environment:
