Government reallocates HUF 497m to ministries, state bodies for defence administration
Budapest, July 24 (MTI) – The government has reallocated a total of 497 million forints (EUR 1.6m) to ministries and other state bodies for defence administration spending in line with a decision published in Friday’s official gazette Magyar Kozlony.
The Prime Minister’s Office received 146 million forints and a total of 141 million forints has been earmarked for local defence committees. The National University of Public Administration was given 4 million forints for defence administration training.
The interior ministry received 120 million forints, most of which (30 million forints) is to be spent on the preparatory defence training of professional and voluntary disaster protection organisations.
The defence ministry was given 117 million forints for military exercises, defence administration conferences and publications.
The economy ministry received 30 million forints for defence reserves, while the national development ministry was given 6 million forints.
The government earmarked 28 million forints to the human resources ministry and 3 million forints to the farm ministry. The National Office for the Judiciary received 7 million forints for staff training and maintenance spending.
