Great news! Budapest Airport to build six-story car park
Thanks to record-breaking passenger numbers driving the need to create more car parking capacity, Budapest Airport is delighted to announce that a brand new, six-level multi-story car park is to be built in front of Terminal 2.
The parking system around the terminals of Ferenc Liszt International Airport will be modified as of October,
when construction commences on the multi-million euro car park, as part of the BUD 2020 development program. The new parking facility, offering around 2500 parking spaces, is scheduled to open for public use in the second quarter of 2020.
The new multi-story car park will be located in the area of the current Terminal Parking, and will be directly connected to both terminals.
During the construction period, customers of the present Terminal Parking will be directed to alternative locations, providing convenient access to the terminals. The traffic signs will be modified accordingly, so that customers will easily find the car park they wish to use.
Further details can be found on Budapest Airport’s website (https://www.bud.hu/en/budparkingchanges), which will be updated throughout the construction period, and will therefore be the primary source of information about parking at the airport.
