Handball: Hungary win against Romania
After Russia, Ukraine, Croatia and Serbia exited the Women’s EHF EURO 2014 the main round started in the the Fönix Hall in Debrecen, Hungary win against Romania.
Hungary’s hopes of reaching the semi-final at the EHF EURO are still alive after a narrow 20:19 win against Romania. Hungarian goalkeeper Eva Kiss’ save of Cristina Neagu free throw in the dying seconds of the match kept Hungary’s dreams alive.
The result sees Hungary moving up to third rank in Group I with four points, while Romania are fifth ranked with one point.
