Health authority issues heat alert
Budapest, August 4 (MTI) – Hungary’s health authority (ANTSZ) has issued a heat warning from Wednesday to Monday.
The authority noted in a statement on Tuesday that this will be the fourth alert so far this year.
The national weather service forecasts a daytime mean temperature of above 25 C. on Tuesday and Wednesday in the central plains and south-western areas. From Thursday this is expected to rise to above 27 degrees and cover wider areas of the country.
