Huge price changes at Hungarian petrol stations from today

Fuel prices are now consistently below HUF 600 (EUR 1.60) at Hungarian petrol stations.

Fuel price changes on 26 April, Wednesday

On Wednesday, 26 April, the wholesale price of petrol will fall by HUF 11 gross, while diesel will be HUF 8 gross less, according to holtankoljak.net.

Taking into account the current average prices, the following fuel prices can be expected at the petrol stations from Wednesday:

  • The average price of 95 petrol is expected to be HUF 583/litre (EUR 1.55),
  • The average price of diesel is expected to be HUF 568/litre from today (EUR 1.51).

This means you can now permanently buy fuel for under HUF 600 at almost all petrol stations in Hungary.

Fuel price changes on 28 April, Friday

Domestic fuel prices continue to fall on Friday. The wholesale price of petrol will be HUF 5 less gross, while the price of diesel will be HUF 4 less gross. The announced wholesale price changes will also be reflected in petrol station prices. Following the change on Friday, the average prices are expected to be as follows:

  • 95 petrol: HUF 579/litre (EUR 1.54)
  • diesel: HUF 565/litre (EUR 1.50)
