Human Rights First report attack against Hungary’s sovereignty, says Jobbik

Jobbik

Budapest, August 16 (MTI) – A recently published report by the US organisation Human Rights Watch criticising Hungarian government politics and the radical nationalist Jobbik party is the most aggressive attack against Hungary’s sovereignty so far, the deputy head of the party’s parliamentary group said on Saturday.

Marton Gyongyosi told a press conference in front of the US embassy in Budapest that the report reveals a programme prepared in the US on ways to discipline Hungary and force it to return to the “path of neoliberalism” with the help of the secret services, civil organisations paid from abroad and press sources that claim to be independent.

Jobbik calls on the ruling Fidesz party and the government to stop playing games and decide whether they stand on the side of “Euro-Atlantism” or on the side of people with patriotic sentiments.
