Hundreds of deer crossed the road in South Hungary – VIDEOS

Sokszinuvidek.24.hu has published a video of a huge deer herd of over a hundred animals crossing the road in the south of Hungary, between Nagynyárád and Sátorhely. The traffic stopped to let the galloping herd pass. Check out these magnificent animals: 

This wasn’t the first recorded sighting of a large herd of deer this winter. A few weeks ago, sokszinuvidek.24.hu reported of a group of around twenty animals that reached a road near Darnózseli in North Hungary. The doe leading the herd stopped to see if it is safe to cross, before leading the group across the road and onto the safety of the neighbouring field.
