On 10 June 2026, the Bahrain–Hungary Industrial Forum 2026 was successfully held at the prestigious The Gulf Hotel Bahrain in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The forum was officially inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The forum was organised by the Bahrain Businessmen’s Association in cooperation with Bahrain Hungary Trade Events under the leadership of Tamas Hovany, and welcomed a high-level visiting Hungarian industrial and commercial delegation comprising more than ten companies specialised in engineering, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and logistics solutions.
During the opening ceremony, His Excellency the Minister affirmed the strength of the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Hungary and their continuous development across various fields, highlighting the importance of expanding economic and industrial cooperation in support of sustainable development goals, quality partnerships, and value-added investments. He described the forum as an important platform for strengthening cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries and for translating shared opportunities into practical projects and initiatives, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to supporting initiatives that help localise advanced technologies, enhance the competitiveness of the industrial sector, and consolidate Bahrain’s position as an attractive destination for quality investments in the region.
Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Bin Hindi, Chairman of the Bahrain Businessmen’s Association, emphasised that the support enjoyed by the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain strengthens investor confidence and creates a stimulating environment for building strategic partnerships with international markets, describing the forum as a platform for long-term relationships and partnerships between Bahraini and Hungarian companies in support of industrial and investment development.
The programme featured panel discussions on investment opportunities and cooperation in a number of vital sectors — including food production technology, water treatment, oil and gas solutions, technological innovation, industrial automation systems, and energy efficiency — alongside a series of bilateral business meetings between Bahraini investors and their Hungarian counterparts. The successful conduct of the forum marks another milestone in the ongoing efforts of Bahrain Hungary Trade Events to deepen economic cooperation and build long-term strategic partnerships between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Hungary.
