MEKH has data on changes in the structure of consumption for August, showing that consumption in the residential segment of the universal service fell by 18 percent, the non-residential segment by 25 percent and power plant consumption by 3 percent compared to the previous year.
Consumption in the other category, which represents less temperature-dependent industrial use, fell by 37 percent, which can be seen as a demand-reducing effect of high prices, the energy agency said.
