Hungarian Player of the Year for 2013: Hannover 96 winger Szabolcs Huszti
Hannover 96 winger Szabolcs Huszti has been honoured by his country after being voted the 2013 Hungarian Player of the Year, bundesliga.com reports.
According to bundesliga.com, Huszti was one of Hannover’s standout players in the 2012/13 season, scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists as the Lower Saxon club finished ninth in the Bundesliga table. This season, the former FC Zenit midfielder has six goals and a further four assists.
He follows fellow Hungarian international Adam Szalai (FC Schalke 04).
