Hungarian police again patrol Croatian coast
Budapest, July 1 (MTI) – Hungary has once again sent police patrols to Croatia to work along the Adriatic coast during the summer tourist season, the website police.hu said.
Under an agreement with the Croatian police, the Hungarian police officers will be patrolling in the Zadar (Zara) region from July 1 to August 31 to help Hungarian tourists and aid their communications with the Croatian authorities.
Hungarian officers will accompany their Croatian colleagues on patrols but will not be authorised to take measures of their own, the police.hu said.
