Hungary’s public media has extended its cooperation with the Italian ANSA news agency to enable the mutual use of each other’s news service in English and photographs.
The related agreement was inked at the Italian Embassy in Budapest on Thursday.
Under the agreement concluded for a year and to be prolonged automatically, the two signatories are entitled to use not more than ten news items and five photographs a day from one another’s output.
The first agreement between ANSA and the Hungarian news agency MTI took effect on January 1, 1994 and has been prolonged annually since then.
