Hungarian publishers in spotlight at Taipei book fair
Budapest, February 17 (MTI) – Ten Hungarian publishers are showing at this year’s Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE2016), where Hungary is the guest of honour.
The Balassi Institute’s Publishing Hungary Program aims to raise the profile of Budapest and Lake Balaton as well as Hungarian wine, food, music and crafts, in addition to Hungarian authors, at the 414sqm national stand.
Nikolett Egeni, of the Hungarian Trade Office in Taipei, said about 500 publications are on display at the stand.
Last year, TIBE drew more than half a million visitors.
