Hungarian ambassador: Trump’s return boosts Hungary’s peace diplomacy in US

US President Donald Trump’s return to office has helped increase the visibility and legitimacy of Hungarian foreign policy in the United States, particularly with regard to its efforts to promote peace in the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, Szabolcs Takács, Hungary’s ambassador to the US, said in Washington on Wednesday.
Addressing an event marking Hungarian Armed Forces Day, Takács said Trump’s messaging on Ukraine and his efforts to broker an agreement were in line with Hungary’s pro-peace stance, adding that Hungary was fully behind the peace efforts.
Takács argued for preserving solidarity and unity within NATO in the current “turbulent times”, emphasising, at the same time, the need for it to remain a defence alliance and avoid getting involved in the conflict in Hungary’s eastern neighbourhood.
David Baker, the US deputy assistant secretary of defence for European and NATO policy, also said that NATO must remain a defence alliance and return to its original function. He also highlighted his recent positive experiences from his visits to Hungary.
How exactly has Hungary promoted peace in the Middle East by hosting Netanyahu who is wanted by the ICC for war crimes? Israel has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians, kills dozens of civilians every day and is starving the Palestinian population. How on earth can Hungary honour this disgusting mass murderer and turn around and claim that it works for “peace”. Give me a vomit bucket if I have to read more outrageous propaganda like this.
This “peace loving” Hungarian government honours mass murdering Putin, mass murdering Netanyahu, mass murdering Bashar Al Assad (now in Moscow), Lukashenko, the Iranian government, the Venezuelan government, and every oppressive government that jails and tortures its’ own people. Orban and Fidesz are the enemies of peace loving people who wish to live in freedom from oppression. They are the puppets of Russia.

Putin is “needlessly killing a lot of people,” pointing out that “missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever.”
