Hungary-Kazakhstan Direct Flight Can Soon Start
Budapest, July 16 (MTI) – A direct Hungary-Kazakhstan flight from Budapest is in the offing now that an air service licence has been submitted to the Hungarian aviation authority, business daily Vilaggazdasag said today.

The deadline for submitting bids for the route will expire on August 9.
According to the National Transport Authority, there are 29 countries where flights from Budapest can be run under bilateral agreements but these air service licences are not utilised because no airline company has applied for them. The majority of licences were released after the grounding of Malev Hungarian Airlines in early 2012.
