Hungary PPI up 5.1pc yr/yr in November

Industrial producer prices rose by 5.1 percent in November from the same month a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Friday.

Prices for domestic sales were up 6.7 percent while export prices increased by 4.3 percent.

In a month-on-month comparison, industrial producer prices were down 0.2 percent as domestic prices fell by 0.4 percent and export prices were 0.2 percent lower.

Year on year, factory gate prices in the manufacturing sector rose by 4.2 percent in October.

In a month-on-month comparison, producer prices in the manufacturing sector were down 0.3 percent. In January-November 2018, industrial producer prices grew by an annual 5.5 percent as domestic prices climbed by 6 percent and export prices were up 5.3 percent.
