Hungary reports latest COVID-19 numbers – Feb 22, 2022

Altogether 131 patients died of a Covid-related illness over the past 24 hours, while 3,193 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Tuesday.

So far 6,389,711 people have received a first jab, while 6,158,184 have been double-jabbed. Fully 3,792,988 Hungarians have received a booster shot.

The number of active infections stands at 183,992, while

hospitals are treating 4,740 Covid-19 patients, 177 of whom are intubated on a ventilator.

Since the first outbreak, 1,762,878 have been registered with the virus, while

43,430 deaths have been recorded.

Fully 1,535,456 people have made a recovery.
