Hungary is donating 156,000 doses of AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine to Vietnam, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook on Thursday.

Hungary is grateful for the medical equipment it received from Vietnam during the first wave of the pandemic, Szijjártó said. In the spirit of partnership, Hungary freed up and sold 400,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to Vietnam before donating another 100,000 doses to the country, the minister noted.

Counting the new shipment, Hungary has sent Vietnam enough Covid jabs to inoculate 656,000 people, he said. In total, Hungary has so far donated close to 5 million vaccine doses to 18 countries, Szijjártó said.

I was listening to Lady C on her youtube channel yesterday, as I do every couple of evenings. She is an extremely well informed person of aristocratic family circle that touches on many countries & cultures. She was saying that despite the high availability of vaccines, too many black persons are refusing to be jabbed.
The only people whom I know personally in my area who have refused are those who want an excuse to not work. They prefer to stay at home and collect one or another type of benefits. It has not been cleared up as yet regarding unemployment insurance or welfare or other supports being available to such people…however there are groups who will ensure that they get both funds & food etc despite refusal to do their part to try to stop the spread of this virus which is ruining education and business systems. Not to mention killing the frail.
With countries helping one another get vaccinated, it is sad that some people with no medical or scientific training are putting up walls which will keep their circle at risk by making silly claims against the vaccine.
