Hungary signs tourism agreement with Egypt
Budapest, April 16 (MTI) – Hungary’s economy ministry and Egypt’s tourism ministry signed a cooperation agreement in Budapest on Thursday.
The document was signed by Economy Minister Mihaly Varga and Foreign Minister of Egypt Sameh Shoukry in parliament.
Varga said the agreement would boost exchanges between businesses, experts and the two states on good practices and experiences in order to help tourism ties between their countries.
He noted that Wizz Air will launch a weekly flight from Budapest to Hurghada on May 16.
Shoukry said it was important for Egypt to cooperate with Hungary not only in tourism but also on political-economic levels. Hungary is an important country for Egypt, he said.
