Hungary’s population decline accelerated by 10 percent!
There were fewer births and more deaths in Hungary in the first three months of the year compared with the same period a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
Fully 4.3 percent fewer children (20,830) were born between January and March compared with the same months a year earlier, while the number of deaths (37,578) increased by 1.6 percent.
Overall, the population decline accelerated by 10 percent.
The number of marriages declined, with 6,080 couples tying the knot, down 66 compared with the first three months of 2018.

Very sad news. Terrible that the population is in a decline especially when work prospects are quite high and the opportunity for successful careers is evident. The young people have to start thinking about survival.
