Milan expo pavilion to be re-erected in Karcag, serve as museum
Budapest, December 17 (MTI) – Hungary’s pavilion for the Milan World Expo is being dismantled and will be transferred to Karcag, in central-eastern Hungary, where it will serve as a museum from 2017 showcasing the country’s equestrian traditions.
Geza Szocs, the government commissioner for the expo, told a news conference that a lawsuit against Hungary had been dropped by the Italian authorities.
An Italian company involved in building the pavilion had lodged a request for the property’s seizure after a dispute over payment, but a local court rejected the suit.
