New Hungarian government spokesperson appointed
Eszter Vitályos, a state secretary at the ministry of culture and innovation, has been appointed government spokesperson and state secretary at the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office effective 1 April, a resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows.
Vitályos was appointed by President Tamás Sulyok on the recommendation of the prime minister.
She will be replaced at the ministry of culture and innovation by Róbert Zsigó, the resolution shows.
Vitályos said on Facebook that it was her “great honour” to accept the appointment. She added that she would remain an MP representing the Pilis-Dunakanyar region.
