Hungary extended the country’s health care to Ukrainian refugees
Hungary is sending a shipment of medical equipment worth tens of millions of forints to the Ukrainian health ministry on Monday as part of the European Union’s relief effort, a state secretary of the human resources ministry has said.
The shipment of equipment for surgical procedures will be delivered at the Záhony border crossing to Ukrainian officials, who will then transport it further inland, Csaba Latorcai said.
Meanwhile, Hungary’s government has extended the country’s health care to Ukrainian refugees, who will have access to treatment and medicines through the Hungarian national health-care provider, he said.
