President Áder meets religious leaders of ethnic Hungarian communities
President János Áder received religious leaders of Hungarian communities in neighbouring countries for a ceremonial lunch in the presidential palace on Tuesday.
“God may not always provide all the miracles people pray for but He provides opportunities from time to time for people to perform wonders for others,” Áder said in his address. Towards the end of the year “focus should fall on the miracles and wonders that one has recently benefitted from”.
“We must thank you all for your selfless work over the past year,” Áder said.
The president made special mention of retired Bishop of Subotica (Szabadka) János Pénzes, outgoing Archbishop of Alba Iulia (Gyulafehérvár) György Jakubinyi, and József Tamás, coadjutor of Miercurea Ciuc (Csíkszereda), for their efforts in helping their communities.
