In order to raise awareness of people living with psoriasis, Night of Swimmers will be held in four cities on 29, October.
At the initiative of the Hungarian Dermatological Society, this year will be the third time when Olympians and enthusiastic volunteers swim together on World Psoriasis Day; on 29, October. This globally unique event aims to increase the awareness of psoriasis and to improve the social acceptance of patients living with psoriasis.
This year, Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged will participate in the program.
In each city, popular athletes will also be present, including László Cseh (Olympic silver and bronze medalist, World- and European Champion swimmer), István Gergely (two-time Olympic champion water polo player), Tamás Varga (two-time Olympic champion water polo player), and Gábor Financsek (European Junior Champion swimmer).
Admission is free to the events.
