One of Hungary’s most renowned thermal spas reopens after years
The spa section of the Tisza Hotel, Szolnok’s most respected hotel, has been closed for quite a long time. Unfortunately, the building is not in a great condition. At the time of its construction, in 1928, it was mentioned in the newspapers as the most magnificent hotel in the region. Now, the hotel announced good news concerning their thermal spa.
After years, we will be able to enjoy the healing effects of the spa water in Tisza Hotel again, Szoljon.hu writes. The opening was announced on the hotel’s website: “Our hotel’s Spa will soon reopen! Please keep an eye on our website, we offer opening discounts for our Spa Guests.”
According to the news portal, the spa will be open from 27 December to 30 December and will reopen on 3 January.
It is understood that the public stream built along the Tisza promenade behind the Tisza Hotel and Spa is now in operation, after repairs were made to the pump that brings the thermal water to the surface.
According to the hotel’s website, the hotel is still open, with hot water for the rooms provided by the thermal spring.
