Hungary must prepare for a growing number of refugees from Ukraine, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Monday and confirmed that weapons will not be transported to Ukraine from the territory of Hungary.

Orbán said on Facebook after a meeting of the national security operative board that the participants had assessed the situation on the 12th day of the war.

A decree has been published that “makes it clear that no weapons shipments can be transported from the territory of Hungary to the territory of Ukraine,” he said.

Orbán called it “worrisome” that military action in Ukraine was shifting nearer to Hungary. As a result, the number of refugees is expected to grow, he said.

“We must be prepared for having to look after an increasing number of people,”

he said and added that decisions had been made to guarantee smooth cooperation between authorities and civil organisations.

Diplomatic measures have been planned for this week because further efforts will be made “in the interest of restoring peace”.

Visegrad Group prime ministers will meet in London on Tuesday, ahead of a meeting of European Union prime ministers meeting on Thursday and Friday in Paris, he said.

“We will try to stop war and open talks that could lead to peace,” he said.

Even though the war is in Ukraine, Hungarians seem to be quite afraid – or at least cautious – because these past few days, the number of passport applications highly increased, details HERE.

On October 23, 2021 Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook that Hungary was betrayed in 1956: “nobody came to help”,

“We, Hungarians, wanted to belong to the free world, but that world left us high and dry,” Szijjártó said, adding that the country lost not only its fight but also “freedom for more than three decades”.

“We lost tens and hundreds of thousands: those that died, those that were left crippled for life, and those that had to flee and could never return to their homeland,” the minister said.

“Salutations to the heroes, shame on the deserters, long live free Hungary”

Apologies, Ukraine, We need to be careful, here !

    Putin has achieved his purpose

    Kiev is for siege !

    The Targets are achieved !

His men are on the verge of a complete takeover of all sea ports and waterways, in East and South UKR !

They will dig in build defences !

The Kiev thrust was a diversion – to ensure that UKR does not send its men to secure the Ports !

Also,it is easier for NATO to send aid to Kiev – than to send it to South and Eastern UKR.

Once the Kiev siege is set – there will be no UKR reinforcements for South and EAST UKR !

People are misreading the Putin stand off o/s Kiev

Putin can steamroll Kiev – any time !

But he wants the minimum loss of life !

He wants to set a siege to Kiev, and choke Ukraine ! AND HE NEEDS CONTROL OF THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OR AIR AND SEA PORTS SO THAT HE HAS LOGISTICAL DEXTERITY AND THE MINIMAL LOGISTICS TIME AND DO A QUANTUM RAMP UP OF THE LOGISTICS ABILITIES !

Death by lack of O2 for UKR

AND ALL THIS IS HAPPENING,WHILE PUTIN IS GETTING THE PUREST OXYGEN – WHICH IS THE HIGHEST PRICE OF OIL !dindooohindoo

With UKR,Uncle Joe is using Russia,to send a message,to PRC

PRC will have to evaluate financial sanctions, and a naval blockade,in the Taiwan annexation.

    EU cannot sanction PRC

    EU will collapse

Even the Americans cannot survive Chinese sanctions

The Key will be a naval blockade of Chinese ports and shipping lanes and Malacca !

And that is Y the US is using UKR,to send a message to PRC-Russia,and especially to PRC, to see the plight of Russia, and the capacity of PRC to aid Russia,to bypass sanctions

It will make the PRC carefully plan an attack on Taiwan,or a Naval Blockade on Taiwan.

In the case of PRC,there is also the angle of a naval blockade on Chinese ports and Malacca
(which is not possible for Russia).Once wars breaks out in SCS – there will be a defacto naval blockade – as no ship will sail in ! dindooohindoo

Perhaps the fact that Hungary was already a communist country had something to do with the lack of help in 1956, together with a deal made during the 1944 Moscow Conference.

“The Hungarian People’s Republic (Hungarian: Magyar Népköztársaság) was a one-party socialist state from 20 August 1949[6] to 23 October 1989.[7] It was governed by the Hungarian Socialist Workers’ Party, which was under the influence of the Soviet Union. Pursuant to the 1944 Moscow Conference, Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin had agreed that after the war Hungary was to be included in the Soviet sphere of influence.[9][10] The HPR remained in existence until 1989, when opposition forces brought the end of communism in Hungary.”

Smart move. Now if the bear comes and bites it’s just everyone for themselves and Hungary won’t expect any help. Careful is as careful does. Hungary again demonstrates it’s head in the sand model of compassion.

Hungary does not owe any loyalty to the east or west. Hungary should stay out of the melee and help the Ukrainian refugees. The US conned Zelensky into declaring intention to join NATO. The result, a war. The Military Industrial Complex is celebrating.
