Petrol will be cheaper in Hungary from Friday

The media has been all about high inflation and rising energy prices these days. But now there is good news for Christmas. The wholesale price of petrol and diesel is finally dropping in Hungary!

On Friday, the wholesale price of petrol and diesel is expected to plummet. Petrol will be HUF 3 (EUR 0.0075) cheaper gross, while diesel will be HUF 5 (EUR 0.012) cheaper gross. In terms of average prices, 95 petrol will cost HUF 631 (EUR 1.57) per litre, while gas oil will cost HUF 713 (EUR 1.77), blikk.hu writes.

    Three forint less is not “cheaper.” It is slightly less expensive.

    maybe is better to keep fuel prices high, the Hungarians like to use the car way too much. The traffic jams are ridiculous.
