Photo: Croatian journalist saved PM Orbán on the Adriatic Sea!
Viktor Orbán, his wife Anikó Lévai and one of their bodyguards were in a motorboat that broke down in the middle of the Adriatic Sea.
According to hvg.hu, the prime minister’s motorboat stopped working near the island of Vis. A former journalist of the Slobodna Dalmacija, Boris Vrkić, rushed to their help. According to the news site, the local man even recommended a nearby restaurant to Orbán after the “rescue operation”. The staff had no clue about the identity of their well-known guest. They only learned about it from the article in the local Jutarnji magazine and were pretty much surprised.
PM Viktor Orbán is spending his holiday in Croatia. On Sunday, he dined at the Gajeta restaurant on the island of Brac. The restaurant wrote in an Instagram post that they were honoured to welcome the Hungarian prime minister.

The journalist should have left Órban there and done all of us a favour.
Imagine it would be substantially cheaper than Lake Balaton ?
Who is paying for this holiday ?
I heard his speech and I must say that Orban doesn’t look like a pure white to me….maybe some gypsy blood?
Prime Minister Orban, hope you wore a life jacket. Anonymous, after your statement, it would be appropriate for someone to say “hope you will be run over by a car’, but most of us have better manners.
Mr. Orban’s speech was well received because it made sense. What part of the speech bothered you, you do not believe in families or saving children from brainwashing by LGBT etc.. Are you upset that Hungarians will have enough gas to heat their homes and cook their good because of a steady gas supply? All countries benefit from a pro nationalist government because it is the duty of any government to look after the welfare of its people.
@mariavontheresa, what a vivid imagination you have! First, Orbán’s speech was not well received, it was even condemned at the time by a minister of the host country (Romania) who was present and made his opinion clear on stage at the event. Secondly, you write as if I am not Hungarian, which I am and I live in Budapest (unlike you who scampered off to Canada), so of course I am glad that I may have some gas for heating in the winter – failing that my home is fully air conditioned so I can use that to heat my home. Regarding cooking I have 2 Miele Induction hobs and 2 Gagganau ovens so I do not need gas to cook. But overall, you have got a real nerve since you do not even live in Hungary.
I am a foreigner and despite all the things people say Orban is right and helping his people. I do not agree with racist comments , no extreme is right, Orban is just doing his job, and better than other politicians. let him enjoy his free time, what he doesnt have the right to have holidays?
Mr. Orban’s speech was well received by his audience and the speech was designed for them. In Dallas, he did get a standing ovation. Mr. Orban was elected by a majority and it is obvious that people who did not vote for him will criticized him for breathing. However, when one politically disagrees with the elected government, most civilized people do not wish for the death of the leader and house members. If one has a better plan, one should work hard to gain support and run against the present representative in the next election.
