Police arrest migrants on train to Vienna
Budapest, July 30 (MTI) – Hungarian police have arrested 26 illegal migrants on a train from Budapest to Vienna.
Police ejected the migrants at the station of Gyor, in western Hungary, public television news channel M1 reported on Thursday. The Immigration Office will launch proceedings against the migrants.
Recently Hungarian, German and Austrian police have been gradually stepping up inspections of international trains, especially the Budapest-Vienna and Budapest-Munich services.
Twenty-two of the migrants were arrested for lacking documents proving that they were in Hungary legally. Four of the group were children.
