Regulations on GMO-free voluntary labelling system finished
Budapest, March 3 (MTI) – Hungary’s government has established a regulatory framework for the voluntary labelling of food that is free of genetically modified organisms (GMO), the Agriculture Ministry said on Thursday.
The labelling system is expected to launch already in the first half of this year, the ministry said.
Hungary’s Constitution bans GMOs from local farms.
