SAP Hungary announces EUR 13.1m expansion
Budapest, October 14 (MTI) – SAP Hungary on Friday announced a 4 billion forint (EUR 13.1m) expansion of its base in Graphisoft Park, in the north of the capital.
The investment will add 5,500sqm to SAP Hungary’s existing 8,800sqm of office space in the park by early 2017, said managing director Balázs Ablonczy. The expansion will create 250 jobs, he added.
Economy Minister Mihály Varga said at the event at which the investment was announced that Hungary was in need of an economic paradigm shift. As part of the changes, government funding for economic projects will have to be aimed at boosting the value chain of production in Hungary, he said.
