Sochi 2014: President Ader visits Hungary Olympic team
Sochi, February 8 (MTI) – President Janos Ader visited the Hungarian team in the Olympic village in Sochi on Saturday, accompanied by his wife and state secretary for sports Istvan Simicsko.
“The most important question was what the circumstances are like, that is to say their accommodation and catering, their health, their training opportunities, and, of course, the venues of the events,” the president told MTI.
Ader said there have been rather alarming reports in the Hungarian and, primarily, the international press about the unpleasant circumstances facing the athletes arriving to the Winter Olympic Games. The Hungarian athletes have spoken about nothing of this kind, he added.
Ader said he had been reassured by the athletes and the officials that the accommodation of the Hungarian team is impeccable.
