Hungary’s Socialist Party is launching a round of dialogues on social media concerning the future of the European Union, a party official said on Sunday.

Socialist MEP István Újhelyi noted at an online press briefing that the EU’s future has been the subject of debate in Strasbourg for the past year, and it was hoped that resulting changes in the bloc would benefit all European citizens.

He accused the ruling Fidesz party of “taking Hungary out of the European community”.

Since the country’s security and future was bound up with the EU, he said, Hungary should be concerned with how the bloc is reformed, adding that input from citizens was therefore needed.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán talked about the issues of the European Union

Citizens, interest groups and trade unions will be consulted, with broad-ranging debates on a particular topic to be held each month, he said, outlining the party’s plans.

The government, he added, had failed to canvass the opinions of Hungarians on this subject.

He said European policy, as far as the Fidesz government was concerned, revolved around the “petty power interests” of the “ruling kleptocracy”.

Socialist politician Kata Tüttő said that hopefully the discussions would lead towards identifying the areas in which “more Europe” was needed in the future as well as the converse.

An EU is needed that “fits better with what we’re like in the world today,” she added.

Hungary better to stay away from the European Union, a dictatorial institute.
If you give them one finger they will take your whole hand.

Hungary has no future if it remains part of the E.U. The communist (socialist and their other leftist friends) wish to erase Hungary and its past from the history books and to be part of a Global Communist dictatorship. I think Hungary suffered enough under these leftist in the past. Take your Marxism and go somewhere else and leave the Hungarian people alone with their freedom.

I agree with the “idea” totally, ASK THE HUNGARIAN PEOPLE IF THEY WANT TO BE DICTATED TO,
PUNISHED FOR TRYING TO PROTECT THEMSELVES, IMPROVE THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING TO THE STANDARDS SOME OF THE WESTERN COUNTRIES HAVE ENJOYED.
FOR NOT WANTING TO BE ASSIMILATED AND AS AN INDEPENDENT AND CAPABLE COUNTRY SUBJUGATED AND TRAMPLED UPON POLITICALLY AS WELL AS ECONOMICALLY.
NOW THE EU IS JELOUS OF HUNGARY’S ECONOMIC GROWTH AND WANTS TO DESTOY ITS COMPETITIVENESS.
THE EU IS ON ANOTHER PLANET ( I AM BEING POLITE)WITH WANTING TO DESTROY EUROPE BY THIS
INSANE UNCONTROLLED MIGRATION, BURDENING THE POPULATION WITH IMPOSSIBLE HARDSHIP
    THIS CREATES.
I CAN ALREADY TELL YOU THE ANSWER.
ANYONE WHO IS A HUNGARIAN AND HASN’T ‘SOLD OUT’ WILL TELL THE EU TO EITHER CHANGE ITS
ATTITUDE TO US AND THE REST OF EUROPE AS WELL, OR TELL THEM WHERE TO GO.
    SIMPLE……….

    Previous three comments are right.
In the past 20 years Western Europe has changed unrecognisably. Being Dutch, my country isn’t the country I grew up in. The indigenous Dutch families of many centuries are hated by the multicultural diversity of the past decades caused by mass migration. Be wise, Hungary (and Poland). Protect your culture and borders. Hopefully the intermarium countries can cooperate to save Central and Eastern Europe from Islamization, communism, socialism and their open borders mantra.

Hungary, through many years of its existence, was dominated by foreign powers. The Turks occupied the country for 160 years, then the Habsburgs dominated the country, the next dictator was the Russian Communist Party.

Although Hungary tried to stay neutral through two world wars, it was forced to participate on the side of Austria and Germany. The loss suffered by the country and its people was horrific.

Now, Brussels and the EU is trying to take away Hungary’s sovereignty. Any persons living in Hungary and agree to Brussels’ dictatorship, is not Hungarian and should just leave the country.

It is time to have a Hungary for Hungarians.
